Into your midst has come a new life.
Naming ceremonies ceremonies can take whatever form you like. Traditionally they celebrate the birth of a child, but they can include entire families or celebrate the children from blended families. Naming days can be held at home, followed by a party or barbeque celebrations or be a more formal celebration, held in a reception centre or similar venue.
My approach to a naming ceremony is to celebrate the change to a family with joy. I love hearing the story of the formation of the family. I want to know about the godparents, how you chose them, what you see as their responsibilities to the child.
